Gated Communities for D2

This year apparently marks the 50th anniversary for the Gated Community in the United States. In July, with my 4x5 and Mamiya 7II (a rare appearance for the latter) in tow, the beautifully minimal Norwegian publication D2 sent me to the Seagate beach community in Coney Island and the Hamlet community in Long Island. Here are a few photos.
